What is decided before the transfer
Which data is needed at all. Five-year-old deals closed as lost only get in the way in a new system — their place is an archive export, not the CRM.
What to do with duplicates. One customer under three spellings is the usual picture in old bases. Merging happens before the transfer, otherwise the mess becomes permanent.
And which fields to move. Some old fields are replaced by standard portal features, some are not needed at all.
How the transfer runs
First a trial run on a copy: we look at how the data landed, what was lost, where relations broke. We repeat until the reconciliation matches.
Then the final transfer in an agreed window, usually at the end of a week. The team finishes Friday in the old system and starts Monday in the new one.
After the transfer, reconciliation: counts of contacts, companies and deals before and after, plus spot checks of cards. We show you the result rather than saying «all fine».
